Hisense HS512 5.1.2 Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer . Engineered for audio enthusiasts and movie lovers alike, this flagship soundbar system delivers true overhead multidimensional sound, deep acoustic impact, and seamless modern connectivity directly to your living room. Whether you are binge-watching high-definition streaming series, listening to high-fidelity music, or gaming on next-gen consoles, the Hisense HS512 brings every subtle acoustic detail and low-frequency effect to life with extreme clarity, rich resonance, and room-filling output power.
True 5.1.2 Channel Architecture and Overhead Sound Placement
At the heart of the Hisense HS512 is its sophisticated multi-driver layout, comprising 11 acoustic speaker drivers carefully tuned and positioned inside the soundbar body alongside a dedicated wireless subwoofer. Unlike standard stereo soundbars or basic surround systems that simulate overhead audio effects through digital filters, the HS512 features upward-firing drivers angled precise to bounce sound waves off your ceiling. This mechanical architecture establishes a physical height layer for object-based sound formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X .
When rain falls in a film scene, or a helicopter zooms overhead, sound originates from above your listening position just as intended by movie sound designers. Side-firing drivers push spatial cues wide to the left and right, creating an ultra-broad acoustic soundstage that extends far past the physical boundaries of your television panel. Front-facing center drivers remain dedicated exclusively to clear dialog presentation, preventing clear spoken voice lines from being overwhelmed by loud explosions or intense musical scores.
Thunderous 500-Watt Total Output Power
Capable of hitting a massive peak power output of 500 Watts (combining 180W from the soundbar main array and 320W dedicated to the low-frequency driver), the HS512 packs enough clean power to fill large living areas and home theater rooms without distortion. Even at high volume levels, the internal amplifier maintains steady dynamics, preserving subtle transient responses across delicate instrumental passages while delivering instant impact during high-action movie sequences.
The high-power output ensures that transient peaks in uncompressed high-bitrate audio streams (such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio) retain their crisp dynamic range. Movies regain their original cinematic impact, offering a punchy experience that draws you directly into the center of the action on screen.
High-Performance Wireless Subwoofer for Deep, Tactile Bass
Deep bass creates the emotional foundation of modern entertainment, from the low rumble of a jet engine to the heavy rhythm of modern music tracks. The Hisense HS512 features a high-excursion 8-inch downward-firing wireless subwoofer housed inside an acoustically braced cabinet. Reaching deep down to 40Hz, this dedicated bass unit reproduces low frequencies with fast response and minimal cabinet resonance.
Because the subwoofer connects to the main soundbar via a interference-free 2.4GHz wireless signal, you are liberated from running long, messy audio cables across your living room floor. Simply plug the subwoofer into an electrical outlet near your favorite listening spot or next to your couch, and it will pair automatically with the soundbar upon powering up.
Comprehensive Digital Connectivity Options
Modern home audio systems must interface effortlessly with a wide variety of devices, including smart TVs, gaming consoles, set-top boxes, and personal smartphones. The Hisense HS512 provides a complete suite of physical ports and wireless connections:
Dual HDMI Inputs with 4K HDR Pass-Through: Plug your Blu-ray player, streaming stick, or video game console straight into the soundbar. The passthrough hardware supports 4K Ultra HD video signals, HDR10, and Dolby Vision without signal degradation or video latency, keeping your picture pristine on your 4K TV screen.
HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) Output: Connect a single HDMI cable to your TV's ARC port to receive high-bitrate multi-channel sound directly from built-in smart TV streaming apps.
Optical & Coaxial Digital Audio Inputs: Ideal for legacy TV models, older gaming consoles, or media players requiring dedicated digital bitstream outputs.
3.5mm AUX Analogue Input: Allows effortless connection to analog music players, laptops, or external audio receivers using a standard auxiliary cable.
USB Multimedia Playback Port: Plug in a USB flash drive containing your MP3, WAV, WMA, or FLAC music files for convenient offline music listening without needing a paired phone or active internet network.
Wireless Music Streaming via Bluetooth 4.2
When the TV is turned off, the Hisense HS512 turns into a room-filling home stereo system. Built-in Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity lets you pair your smartphone, tablet, iPad, or computer wirelessly in seconds. Stream your favorite playlists, podcasts, radio stations, and audiobooks from services like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and Tidal with stable signal range and warm, balanced acoustic tuning.
Specialized EQ Audio Modes for Customized Listening
Not all audio content is mixed the same way. The Hisense HS512 includes an advanced Digital Signal Processor (DSP) with 5 tailored sound modes designed to optimize audio playback based on what you are watching:
Movie Mode: Enhances surround sound algorithms, activates height channels fully, and boosts sub-bass response for maximum cinematic involvement during blockbuster movies.
Music Mode: Balances frequency response across treble, mid-range, and bass, providing authentic instrument clarity and vocal warmth for stereo audio tracks.
News Mode: Highlights voice frequencies while reducing low-end boominess, ensuring talk shows, podcasts, and nightly news reports are easy to hear.
Sport Mode: Emphasizes stadium crowds and ambient stadium sound effects while keeping play-by-play commentary clear and up front.
Night Mode: Compresses dynamic range so quiet conversations remain legible while suppressing loud explosions, allowing you to watch movies late at night without disturbing family or neighbors.
Sleek Low-Profile Design & Easy Wall Mounting
Designed with modern minimalist interior design in mind, the Hisense HS512 features a slim, low-profile body finished in matte black with a durable metallic mesh front grille. Measuring just 73 mm in height, the soundbar sits neatly below most flat-panel televisions without blocking the TV's lower bezel, screen edge, or infrared remote sensor.
For wall-mounted TV installations, the package includes wall-mounting brackets, screws, and a template inside the box. The integrated LED front display panel provides clear visual feedback regarding current input source, volume levels, and active audio decoding formats (such as Dolby Atmos), dimming automatically after a few seconds so it won't distract you in a dark room.
