JBL Horizon 3 DAB+ with FM Radio Speaker in Gray represents the next generation of premium bedside entertainment and smart wake-up solutions. Designed to blend effortlessly into modern bedroom aesthetics, guest rooms, and executive nightstands across Uganda, this sleek, multi-functional audio centerpiece transforms how you begin and end your day. Built with an refined fabric speaker grille and a sculpted rounded chassis in sophisticated matte gray, the Horizon 3 is far more than a digital clock—it is a complete personal audio hub engineered with JBL’s renowned acoustic driver technology.
Upgrading your bedside setup with the Horizon 3 means replacing multiple clunky devices—a separate radio, alarm clock, phone charger, and nightlight—with a single, space-saving unit. Equipped with dual full-range transducers, the Horizon 3 delivers room-filling JBL Pro Sound that provides exceptional sonic depth whether you are listening to morning news broadcasts, high-bitrate digital radio streams, or late-night relaxed playlists via Bluetooth 5.3.
Unmatched JBL Pro Sound Acoustic Performance
Despite its compact, space-saving profile, the JBL Horizon 3 is engineered with a dedicated dual-transducer acoustic configuration. Utilizing twin 1.5-inch full-range drivers backed by 10 Watts RMS of continuous amplification (2 x 5W RMS), the speaker reproduces clear mids, crisp vocals, and surprisingly full-bodied low-end response down to 65 Hz.
Whether tuned into local FM frequencies or digital DAB/DAB+ broadcasts, the sound is optimized by custom digital signal processing (DSP) to prevent dynamic distortion at elevated volumes. Speech clarity on talk shows and podcast streams remains articulate, while music playback achieves a rich stereo balance that easily fills master bedrooms, home offices, and living spaces.
Sunrise Alarm Effect & Nature Soundscapes
Mornings are made gentler through the Horizon 3’s innovative Sunrise Effect Alarm . Rather than startling you awake with harsh beeping, the back ambient light panel gradually increases in brightness prior to your alarm time, mimicking the natural warmth of dawn. This gradual visual transition helps adjust your circadian rhythm, allowing you to wake up naturally refreshed.
To complement the sunrise light effect, the speaker features a Customizable Sleep & Wake System . You can program your wake-up cues using traditional buzzer tones, your favorite local FM or DAB+ radio station, or preset nature soundscapes such as gentle rain, ocean waves, or forest ambiance. At bedtime, reverse the process by engaging sleep timer mode, allowing soothing nature soundscapes and soft ambient lighting to lull you into deep, restful sleep.
Digital DAB, DAB+, FM Tuners & Bluetooth 5.3 Streaming
Stay connected to news, traffic, sports, and music channels with comprehensive radio frequency support. The integrated DAB/DAB+ tuner locks onto high-definition digital broadcasts with zero static interference, displaying station details directly on the front panel display. For traditional analog broadcasts, the built-in FM radio tuner ensures complete coverage across standard frequencies.
When you prefer streaming your personal playlists, podcasts, or audiobooks, the latest Bluetooth 5.3 protocol ensures instant pairing, low energy consumption, and extended wireless range. Wirelessly link your smartphone, tablet, or laptop from across the room without experiencing audio drops, buffering lag, or lip-sync latency issues during video streaming.
Built-in USB-C Power Delivery & High-Speed Charging
Eliminate bedside cable clutter and free up wall sockets with the integrated 5V/3A high-output USB-C charging port . Positioned on the unit for easy accessibility, this dedicated charging output provides fast power delivery directly to your smartphone, wireless earbuds, smartwatch, or tablet overnight. Plug your device in before sleeping, and wake up to a fully charged battery alongside your morning alarm.
Dimmable Display, Ambient Lighting & JBL ONE App Control
The front facade features a large, crystal-clear digital LED display that shows the current time, active alarm status, radio station info, and audio source. Built-in auto-dimming ambient light sensors adjust display brightness according to room lighting levels, keeping the time visible during daytime while dampening brightness at night so it never shines in your eyes. An intuitive tactile rotary dial knob on the top panel makes adjusting volume, snoozing alarms, and tuning radio stations quick and effortless, even while half-asleep.
For full smart customization, pair the Horizon 3 with the JBL ONE App on iOS or Android. The app allows you to remotely set alarm schedules, customize ambient light color temperatures and brightness levels, adjust EQ parameters, organize radio station presets, and manage nature sound playlists directly from your phone screen.
Eco-Friendly Design & Built-In Power Backup
In alignment with modern sustainability standards, the JBL Horizon 3 features eco-friendly construction. Its outer speaker grille is woven from 100% recycled polyester yarn , and the main frame is crafted using at least 85% recycled PC/ABS plastic . Packaging is made from FSC-certified paper printed with soy ink.
To protect your morning schedule against power outages, the speaker includes an internal CR2032 lithium backup battery slot . In the event of an electrical failure or power cut, the clock memory and alarm schedules are retained, ensuring your wake-up alarm goes off on time every morning.
